CO31
This smaller version of the prototype Grand Confort chair (CO21) first appeared as a prototype in 1929 but was not put into production until 1959 by Heidi Weber with the approval of Le Corbusier. Weber developed construction methods which permitted the frame to be chromed and gave the cushions a more formal and tailored look. The upholstery is available in a wide range of leather and fabric options. The cushions are available with acrylic padding over foam. The frame is constructed of chrome-plated or enamel painted tubular steel.
